Leak confirms Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge launch date

galaxy-s7-launch-date

Around a month ago it was suggested that Samsung would launch the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge on February 20th this year. That would put the launch just one day before Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 starts off in Barcelona. If this leak is correct then the actual release is on February 21st 2016 instead, one day after the previously suggested launch day.

LG Nexus 5 2015 render leaks

lg nexus 5 2015

Before devices are made public for customers to drool over and buy, case makers are the first to get upcoming devices' dimensions and thier schematics. This of course is to help build accessories such as cases that can be instantly available as the device releases. For this reason, when supplying information to other companies can sometimes cause a spillage of info that shouldn't be privy to the public.Sometimes a case company can reveal their "upcoming" case for a new phone that isn't out yet! These so called leaks causes all types of hype, such as the upcoming Nexus devices.
For now, the LG Nexus 5 2015 edition has not been confirmed by Google or LG. All we can go from is the stories and information that social media provieds. The image above shows a speculation of the upcoming device. However, don't be fooled, this is not the actual phone itself but renderings which are based off the dimensions given to case manufacturers. With these renders we can infer the shape and size of the phone, the placement of speakers e.g. front grills, a fingerprint sensor, camera size and location and flash location. Other things can include the headphone jack, SIM tray location, (secondary) mics, and the possibility of a USB Type-C port.
For now we have only these renders to look at. And the video down below. Until the end of this year, I don't see much else other then a leak of the actual phone itself.

The likely date that the iPhone 6S will be revealed

9to5Mac obtained images of what appears to be the iPhone 6s

Apple is expected to be hosting its usual annual event on September 9th. This event usually partakes focus on Apple's next iPhones.

According to a Buzzfeed source, Wednesday September 9 is seen as the most likely day for the company to release an update on the new iPhone(s).

Force Touch as seen on the 2015 Mac will apparently be on the new iPhone 6S. We should see shortcuts and faster actions across iOS via multitasking. According to 9to5Mac, it was designed in mind to "skip existing lists of options or button presses." which makes the feature different to the one found on the Apple Watch

One example provided was someone looking up a location on Maps and then using Force Touch to begin turn by turn directions instantly. In another example, the person Force Touching a webpage link in Safari bought up a preview of it or a definition of a word.

This is exciting news and something that should be seen as an 'innovative' feature on Apple's behalf. Now the wait until September

Galaxy S6 Edge+ leaks

Samsung seems to have affirmed, likely unintentionally, that the up and coming Galaxy Note 5 will, without a doubt, be joined by a new curvy model. The organization's French site has a pre-order landing page for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ which has since been taken down. It's presented with a Level Bluetooth headset in a package that will be available to pre-order between August 21st and September 3rd. It infers that the S6 Edge+ may release to the market on September 4th. Be that as it may, the dates could apply entirely to the package, and not the telephone itself.

Be cautious however, the dates do line up nearly with prior gossipy tidbits about the Galaxy Note 5 - as indicated by WSJ. Samsung is supposedly releasing it it in front of Apple's iPhone 6S's release as competition. The photograph on the page appears to show an identical phone to the normal Galaxy S6 Edge.

Other than that, there's not a great deal of data about the gadget. It's supposed to be around 5.5-inches and have the same specifications and much likes its smaller brother, a bended screen. We will find out sooner than later, as Samsung has announced an Unpacked Event on August 13th. Stay tuned!
